Pavlo Savitski

Early Piano & Bassoon

Pavlo was born in Ukraine but grew up in Warsaw, Poland. Born to music family, he was exposed to music from the very beginning of his life and began his own journey with music at age of 4. During many years of education at Szymanowski Complex of Public Music Schools, Pavlo performed both as soloist and in an orchestra at various recital halls and venues from art centers to music halls to museums.

Mr. Savitski’s first musical instrument to study was piano. He was inspired by his mom, Roksana Savitski, accomplished pianist and active piano teacher, who also became his first piano teacher. Since that time, Pavlo gave a number of piano performances, among others, at Bach Piano Competition where he received 2nd prize in 2014.

Pavlo is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance from the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music where he studies bassoon with Ms. Elise Wagner, member of Houston Symphony. Pavlo is an active bassoon performer both solo and chamber music.
